This is the first 2-Plyer game for the N64. It is hard to control at first, but soon piloting the jet ski becomes second nature. The control is extremely intuitive, and fun. The water effects are the best yet (as of this writng, well over a year after it's release). The actual riders are a bit chunky, though, and the land-bound crashes are a bit cheap, since the rider falls through the shore just like the water, but this doesn't effect the gmeplay at all. I love the announcer, but most people make fun of him. The music is very elevator-like. In 2-player mode the waves are no longer transparent and reflective, and they don't draw out as far. These are all the bad points, though. This game is very fun and looks great. It is one of the best tests of skill ever.
